You are welcome to puchase this comic. However it is the belief of Angry Dog Press that ORCA no longer functions. It is no long giving away comics to schools and libraries. It did at one point.

Intro on Potlatch Comics to benefit ORCA by Dennis Kininger
I've long held the belief that in fandom, one is never alone. Oh, it doesn't matter what sort of fandom: Toys, Sports, Manga, Comics or whatever you may be interested in. Once a few fans find each other, talk to each other and begin to do things together, then it becomes possible to truly explore the boundaries and limitations of one's hobby.
My personal involvement in fandom, comic book fandom in particular, (comics being the subject of the dandy little book you now hold in your hands) began very quietly, some seven or eight years ago, with a curious ad for a comic book club that I spotted in the events section of a local newspaper.
For a very long time, I was a lonely comic book fan. I'd been reading comics most of my life. I had a few friends in high school and a younger brother who read them but they moved on to other things. I finally landed a job that allowed me to become a full-fledged comic collector, thanks to a recently opened comic book store in my area (Ravenswood, Inc.). Aside from a few casual acquaintances at the comic shop, I was still alone. Needless to say, this odd little ad for an actual comic book club piqued my interest.
To be continued INTRO.
